Garbage, Renovation, and Wood Waste - Fee per metric tonne (1,000 kg):  - Fee per metric tonne (1,000 kg): $95.00 ($1 per 10.52 kg or part thereof)
Public Vehicle Minimum (Loads weighing less than 200 kg): $19.00
Commercial Vehicle Minimum (Loads weighing less than 369 kg): $35.00
Please note: Scales weigh in five (10) kg increments. Fees are rounded up to the nearest 10 cents for all transactions.

Inert Fill: Fee per metric tonne (1,000 kg)
Brick & Block: $27 per metric tonne
Concrete: $27 per metric tonne

Asphalt: $27 per metric tonne

Fuel Recovery:

A fuel recovery fee may be applied to all waste disposal and transportation services provided, including but not limited to, pickup, transportation, and disposal of materials. The fee will be determined based on the cost of fuel at the time of service and will be calculated as a percentage of the total cost. The percentage will be determined by YORK1 and may be adjusted periodically to reflect changes in fuel costs. Please click here to review the fuel recovery details.

Acceptable Items

  • Construction waste

    Drywall, roofing shingles, wood, cedar shake roofing, metal, cardboard, counters, tiles, flooring, carpet, wood and pressure-treated lumber.

  • Household Items

    Furniture, electronics, bicycles, appliances, clothes, old lawn equipment and dry food waste.

  • Inert Fill

    Concrete, gravel, brick, pea gravel, and mixed rubble(broken down to a soccer ball size or smaller).

  • Food

    Organics, restaurant waste, refrigerator waste and green bin waste.

  • Yard Waste

    Trees, shrubs, landscape material and leaves.

  • Special Requests

    Tires and railway ties.
